Fordham Bedford Housing Corporation is enthusiastic to oversee the development of the five apartment buildings encompassed in the Park Gates project: 1854 Monroe Avenue, 2068, 2072, and 2078 Bathgate Avenue, as well as 4619 Park Avenue. These apartments were poorly managed, resulting in disrepair and financial distress. FBHC has recently closed on the acquisition and construction. At that point, the twenty-four month renovation process will commence. 

Renovations of the Park Gate apartments will be substantial including; replacement of floor joists, refurbish kitchen and bathrooms, and updated plumbing and electrical systems using eco-friendly methods.  After approximately two years of renovations, seventy-three units will be preserved for the Bronx community.
