In November 2016, FBHC purchased a parcel from the Ursuline Bedford Park Convent, located at 2885 Marion Avenue, directly adjacent to the Serviam Campus. Construction began in 2019 and the building is scheduled to open in Summer of 2021. 

 

When complete Bronxview will include 26 one-bedroom, 66 two-bedroom and 22 three-bedroom apartments (with one and a half baths) in an eight- story, mixed income building.  A community service facility will also be built to provide child care for the surrounding neighborhood. 

 

The building will be surrounded by beautiful landscaping, and outdoor sitting areas. Apartments in the higher stories will have a lovely view of the Manhattan skyline, the Botanical Gardens and Fordham University. Bronxview will feature a number of energy-saving and green elements: an efficient boiler, low-energy elevators, LED light fixtures, low-emissive argon-filled windows, Energy Star rated appliances, low-flow water fixtures and a rainwater harvesting system for irrigating.
