Serviam Gardens opened its doors to seniors ages 62 and over on November 2009. The building is comprised of 83 apartments and is built on the property of the Ursuline Bedford Park Convent in the Northwest Bronx.
Serviam Towers, built alongside Serviam Gardens, is comprised of an addition 160 units of affordable senior housing. Construction on Serviam Towers began in the winter of 2009 and was completed in the summer of 2010.
Funding partners for these projects include: the Bronx Borough President's Office, Chase CDC, Enterprise Community Partners, Enterprise Green Communities, the Home Depot Foundation, NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), NYC Housing Development Corporation (HDC), and the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
